The 1985 Zarka Fortune Telling Teacup Set is a Japanese copy of the Jon Anton and Royal Kendall Taltos sets, which were colourized copies of the Nelros Cup of Fortune of 1904. The quickest way to distinguish it from others of its type is to note that the lettering of the signs of the zodiac is in green and there are significant art and color differences from its forerunners. The Zarka set was offered for sale through supermarket tabloids, women’s magazines, gift catalogues, and gift shops for about ten years, after which manufacture ceased.
